Name GRAY, William M. Prefix Lt. Born 1792 Gender Male Biography - William M. Gray (1792-1858) was a lieutenant in the war of 1812. After the war he returned to Sunbury and engaged in merchandising. In 1830, 1831 and 1832 he was worshipful master of Lodge No. 22, Ancient York Masons. In 1841 he organized the first Lutheran Sunday school in Sunbury and was its first superintendent. He was the son of Capt. William Gray, who was born in Belfast, Ireland, in 1750, and emigrated to America on reaching his majority.
