Milton Manufacturing Company - Shell Plant 1919

This picture was taken to the east. The shell plant was built during WWI and produced 4.7 and 6 inch artillery shells for the war. The office building on the left end faces Cameron Avenue, just east of Cherry Street. The Reading Railroad track that runs diagonally crosses the river out of the picture to the left.
