From the book “Milton, Pennsylvania, the 19th Century Town on Limestone Run” by Homer F. Folk: The boat yard of Mathias Strine & Sons was located just south of Ferry Lane, between the canal and Cherry Street. It appears on the map of 1858. The basin begins on the left in the picture.
